Using the theme of Christmas, families will make Christmas cards, wrapping paper and decorations with a Ditchling Museum twist.

August is ‘Family Focus Month’ at Ditchling Museum. As part of this celebration we are offering discounted Museum entry for adults (children under 16 are free) and a FREE tea or coffee from the Cafe.

Reduced Adult Admission: £2.00 (normally £3.50) and a FREE tea or coffee (for one adult with a child)

Come and take part in the FREE Art Explorer trail for children aged 4 - 12, discover the Museum and its small garden or just enjoy a drink in the café and a look around the shop.

To claim the discount please print out this page and present it at the Museum front desk. The discount scheme cannot be offered without this voucher and discounts only apply to visiting families (one adult with a minimum of one child)

Museums and Galleries Month is a month-long activity that we hope will introduce visitors to the individual ‘Ideas & Innovations’ of the crafts people and villagers represented in the Museum Collection.
Come along to the Museum, draw your favourite object, and hang your picture on the ‘Museums and Galleries Month’ board.

As part of ‘architecture08’ come and look at the Museum’s current development plans and build your own fantasy building.

The aim of these workshops is to introduce parents and children to the Museum and its Collection through a range of fun and informal practical workshops.

Using a ‘Discovery’ activity sheet, families attending Ditchling Fair will be given free entry to the Museum and asked to discover more about the Museum.
